Coating systems in the textile industry sector cover a wide range of applications. Especially for the production of seam seal tapes, KKA has developed and combined different technologies to meet the current and future environmental requirements. In special transfer coating processes the product is built up layer by layer from the top side. In addition to high-precision coating units, which work in a closed loop with subsequent area weight measurement units, a flat textile is laminated almost without tension and wrinkle-free. Infrared dryers specially developed for this application enable a precise cross-linking of the 2-component plastisol. Thus desired material characteristics can be produced by the purposeful dosage of the infrared waves.
