KKA has been successfully supplying machines for the production of films for the pharmaceutical industry for decades. Basically, the product portfolio ranges from complete calender lines for hard, semi-hard and soft PVC-PU-CPE and PP, over coating lines, up to single components. KKA calendering lines are subdivided into the following components: feeding, multi-roll calender (4-5 rolls), film take-off group, film conditioning, cooling group, basis weight measurement, web inspection, converting and turret rewinder. The heart of such systems is the calender and the calender downstream equipment. High precision and stability are the cornerstones of our designs. Low-vibration frame designs, smooth-running roll guidance and high-resolution adjustment mechanisms in combination with basis weight measurement and various deflection compensations allow the production of thin, uniform films. These lines are rounded off by fully automatic turret winders with roll handling systems.
