Film Calendaring
KKA’s machine and equipment concept, in conjunction with a complete knowledge of the products, enables calendering systems to be designed precisely to meet customers’ requirements, and therefore to fulfill market-specific needs. The highly developed, tried-and-tested technology is a guarantee of high availability, and therefore the basis of the KKA calenders’ performance. Part of the success that KKA has strived for and achieved with these machines is the excellent quality of the surfaces, the high throughput rates, and the minimal tolerance in the thickness of the films. Numerous standardized constructions and special editions are available.
Film Calendar
The KKA delivery programme offers complete calendering lines for the production of soft- and rigid films. By using differently designed 4 or 5 roll calenders, films can be produced with high precision and speed. Typical materials processed on KKA Calanders are PVC, U-PVC, P-PVC, TPO, PP rigid films TPU coatings, etc.
Down Stream Equipment
Uniform temperature management and a high-resolution drive system are essential for closely toleranced film production. Weight measurements working in a control loop, automatic defect inspection systems and fully automatic winding technology complete the portfolio for new calender lines or retrofitting of existing calenders.
