
Conveyor Belt
The KKA product range offers the optimal basis for production plants for the conveyor belt industry. The processing of thermoplastics such as PVC, TPO or TPU form the basis. High application weights, combined to multi-layer composite products is an industrial characteristic application area. Necessary carrier fabrics are processed pre-coated or can be saturated in-line. The typical calender coating process enables the application of highly viscous polymers over a large material width characterized by a constant cross profile. After compounding of the raw materials, these polymers are conveyed into the calender via multi-stage extruders. By using an embossing calender, the surface structure of the composite can be defined via an upstream thermal pretreatment. Optionally, several layers can be laminated to a composite in this process step. This requires a uniformly precise temperature management and an exactly coordinated fabric guidance, taking into account very high fabric web tensions.
